If you’re looking for a highly productive and compact 12-inch drum style chipper, we recommend the Intimidator ™ 12 XP. With a 24″ diameter drum and a large throat opening 14 1/4″ high and 17 “wide, you can easily handle large stacks of brushes and branches.
Mounted on Bandit’s proven slide box feed system, the powerful dual feed wheels apply pressure directly to the material that enters the chipper, with little need to trim the material before feeding it to the chipper. The standard hydraulic lift cylinder is a great feature that provides additional hydraulic downforce to reduce the work of the chainsaw, facilitating unit loading and increasing productivity.
The 54” wide, wide-profile hopper provides ample clearance to easily handle limbs and other difficult-to-machine parts. Gasoline and diesel engine options are available from 49.4 to 145hp.
